Your new employer
You will be working with a highly successful entrepreneurial couple, with offices in both Renfrewshire & Edinburgh, therefore applicants from either location are encouraged to apply. You'll play a pivotal role in the operational side of the business, including managing and supporting staff. It is important to maintain a high level of discretion and be a strong organiser in both professional and personal work.
Responsibilities within your new role
1. Act as the first point of contact for the CEO.
2. Maintain complex and committed short, medium and long-term diaries for CEO including scheduling internal, external meetings & booking travel.
3. Produce documents, reports and presentations as well as take clear and concise minutes at a variety of meetings.
4. Proactively maintain the brand of the CEO both inside and outside of company.
5. Communicate on behalf of the Chief Executive to other stakeholders as required.
6. Assist with the provision of company secretarial and governance duties as required.
7. Providing charity board support.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in a similar-level strategic support role and environment. You should be educated to a degree level or equivalent, be tech savvy and have a strong understanding of the ever-changing nature of an entrepreneur's day. You will be one step ahead and enjoy supporting the overall success of the business. You will demonstrate confidence & competence and provide insights to important decision making. You will also support implantation of new systems & processes.
