Sales Director - Logistics / Freight Forwarding

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000

If you relish a challenge, and feel you have what it takes to work at the peak of the global logistics industry, my client is looking for a talented Sales Director to join their team in Warrington and spearhead the sales growth from this site.
Role Overview:
• Lead the sales team to successfully develop the business growth of the branch, leading from the front, and developing new client opportunities.
• Focus primarily on ocean freight but also looking at other suitable opportunities in both air and road freight.
• Build partnerships with new and existing customers and be the face of the sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop multi-channel solutions.
• Coach and mentor a team of two colleagues to develop the capability of the team.
Essential Requirements:
• 3-4 years logistics or supply chain business development, ideally with a ready-made list of clients that can be integrated at pace.
• Established network within logistics with primary focus on ocean and air freight.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of being a hands-on leader.
