Job summary Specialty doctor in old age psychiatry based at the outpatient department in the Rochdale borough. Full time 10 sessions post to support Rochdale older people's West Sector team. Working along side the Consultant Psychiatrist. and the GP trainee. Main duties of the job To provide consistent and experienced medical support to the team. Providing assessments and management of new referrals and follow clinics and home visits. Medical input into the memory clinic and management of patients on the ward. MBBS or equivalent is essential, MRCPsych or equivalent desirable. Section 12 approval or working towards approval essential. Minimum of 4 years in Psychiatry at CT,ST or SG level.
