JOB PURPOSE As the Procurement Specialist your role is responsible for supporting within a Commercial Procurement Category Team, such as Architecture, IT, Marketing and Supply Chain to deliver optimum commercial outcomes and deliver directly to Burberry’s P&L. The Commercial Procurement team has a global remit working across the central corporate function and locally with individual regions. You will be supporting a Senior Category Manager, which supports both strategic projects and day to day activities across the Category and work with a range of stakeholders across our offices in Leeds and London. RESPONSIBILITIES Category Management support and potential ownership of a Sub Category Manage RFIs, RFPs, Invoicing & New Supplier set up including Due Diligence Engaging and managing stakeholders and suppliers Development and implementation of procurement strategies Work with Legal and Info-Sec to ensure quality contracts are in place with credible suppliers Provide regular reporting on savings, projects and supplier performance Support/manage commercial issues relating to suppliers Provide Procurement best practice advice to internal customers PERSONAL PROFILE Operational and commercial experience Experience of working with Stakeholders and external suppliers Great customer facing skills Ability to deliver tangible results whilst working in a challenging and ever changing environment Ability to face and resolve multiple issues in a collaborative manner Good Excel /analytical skills Good communication skills, both verbal and written Collaborative and considerate Self-motivated, high energy level, and a positive attitude Comfortable working in a flexible environment FOOTER Burberry is an Equal Opportunities Employer and as such, treats all applications equally and recruits purely on the basis of skills and experience.
