In the role of Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. * Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
* Location: Benfleet
* Salary Scale: £90-£125
* Contract Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
1. Curriculum Delivery: Lead and deliver lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher, ensuring continued progress and engagement of students.
2. Support and Differentiation: Provide targeted support to individuals and groups, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
3. Collaboration: Work closely with teachers and school leaders to contribute to planning and curriculum development.
4. Assessment and Reporting: Assist in assessing student progress, providing insights and feedback for ongoing improvement.
5. Behavioural Support: Implement positive behavior management strategies to foster a positive and inclusive environment.
6. Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development, staying informed about best practices and innovations.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Qualified as HLTA or equivalent experience.
* Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, with the ability to lead lessons and support diverse needs.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
* Initiative, adaptability, and a passion for student success.
* Relevant qualifications or training in education or related fields.
