Main duties of the job
Clerk Receptionist on one of the reception desks within the Dental Hospital. Responsibilities include checking patients in for their appointments, booking further appointments, and answering a high volume of telephone calls. Ensure that the patients' case notes are available for their appointment.

* To provide an efficient and effective administrative service to patients and the multi-disciplinary team.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* GCSE in English Grade C or equivalent or NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
* ECDL
* RSA 1 or 2 equivalent
Skills
* Very good keyboard skills.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
* Accuracy and attention to detail.
* Good interpersonal skills.
* Able to prioritise workload.
* Excellent telephone manner.
Experience
* Previous experience in a customer care role within an office-based environment.
* Working within NHS or hospital environment.
Knowledge
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* PAS / eRecord.
