Job Description
Title: Field Service Manager
The Company: A well-established medium sized fire and security company who specialise in installing, servicing and maintaining fire and security contracts operating mainly in the commercial and corporate market.
Package:
£40,000 - £46,000 basic
31 days holiday including bank holidays
Car or car allowance
Main Responsibilities:
1. Managing the service team, offering mentoring, technical support, and identifying training needs.
2. Being proactive and leading by example, motivating the team on their daily productivity, maintaining performance and attendance.
3. Maintaining relationships with customers and delivering a high level of customer service.
4. Identifying sales opportunities, attending client meetings, and increasing client retention.
5. Managing complaints and taking ownership.
6. Working alongside the operations director on a service plan and delivering updates and reports.
Knowledge and Experience Required:
1. Previous engineering and management experience.
2. Technical support experience.
3. Strong communication skills.
4. Knowledge of fire extinguishers and emergency lights is desirable but not required.
5. Experience in the commercial sector.
