Conduct Business Development to bring on new customers in your assigned territories covering all sectors (Utilities, Working at Height and Lifting and Holding).
Developing and growing the brand presence and market share of Cyclops Utilities in the assigned territories, in line with the company strategy.
In line with company strategy, promote on-site and remote monitoring technology.
Take ownership of assigned territories and their assigned budget, developing and delivering an inspiring sales strategy.
Present innovative ideas on how to get key customers performing and exceeding the monthly and annual forecasted budget.
Work with the team internally to present solutions to the customer base at their request.
Identify new routes to market which may not have been investigated previously.
Use personal, previous and developed knowledge of the Utilities market so the customer base embraces and promotes Cyclops as essential technology for their markets (Utilities, Working at Height and Lifting and Holding) within the defined territories.
Lead & take responsibility for the product managers within assigned customers, maximizing mind share with regular product training, strategy & planning meetings for business growth in their territory and sector (Utilities, Working at Height and Lifting and Holding).
Drive ‘Smart’ product sales through key customers to increase market share and brand presence in chosen territories and sectors (Utilities, Working at Height and Lifting and Holding).
Support relevant influencers on the ‘Smart’ range (e.g. equipment manufacturers, equipment installers, and maintenance teams as well as social media influencers) to help support revenue generation.
Ensure all transactions are conducted at a level greater than a minimum gross margin (defined by Head of Sales).
Maintain price lists and terms with assigned accounts, aligned with the pricing principles and ensure that annual price lists are agreed and deployed ahead of schedule.
Discuss with assigned accounts the strategy, route to market and business model for the Cyclops ‘Smart’ product offer.
Deploy with assigned accounts the strategy, route to market and business model for the Cyclops ‘Custom’ load pin offer.
Align sales activity with the KPIs, including visit rates, order conversion rates, territory performance, etc., reporting them on a monthly basis to the Head of Sales.
Maintain the CRM system for all assigned territories and accounts.
Support your assigned accounts with attendance at relevant shows, training events, seminars, and on-site meetings to support revenue generation and product awareness.
Significant travel to support assigned areas will be around an average of 8 to 10 days per month with individual trips potentially for longer periods of time.
Be prepared to book and arrange all domestic and international travel within the teams and individual annual travel budget.
Maintain behaviors that align with the vision, mission, and core values of Cyclops Utilities.
Present to the Senior Leadership Team new and innovative product ideas which would help Cyclops Utilities to increase market share.
Attend sales team meetings advising on future product, sales, and marketing strategies you would recommend that align with the vision and future growth of the business.
Work closely with the Marketing function of the business to ensure the sales strategy with assigned accounts aligns with the marketing plan.
Take on any other responsibility at the request of your Line Manager.
