Our client, a well-respected firm based in Edinburgh, is seeking an Administrator / Receptionist to support their Chartered Accountant tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, professional individual to join a friendly and dynamic office environment. The role will be available due to retirement and offers the chance to be part of a respected team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Reception duties including answering calls and greeting clients
* Managing and coordinating appointments and diary scheduling for the tax team
* Preparing and serving tea and coffee to clients and colleagues
* Hosting meetings and ensuring clients are made to feel welcome
* Providing administrative support to the Chartered Accountant tax team, including document preparation and filing
* Handling general office tasks such as managing office supplies and coordinating internal communications
* Assisting with office systems, including managing client correspondence and other ad hoc duties
Key Requirements:
* Previous experience as a receptionist or administrator, ideally within an accounting or professional services environment (bonus if you have experience supporting accountants)
* Strong organizational and diary management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency with office software, including Microsoft Office Suite
* A friendly and welcoming attitude, with a professional approach to handling clients and colleagues
* Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy office environment
