Cantello Tayler Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a client who is based in Windsor. The primary objectives of the role will be to support Accounts in day-to-day finance administration.

The Accounts Assistant duties will include:
Printing out incoming invoices, logging on accounts payable/Sage and issuing for sign off, update on Sage/Accounts once payment made.
Processing sales invoices, loading onto Sage
Credit control, including management of accounts receivable ledger, chasing outstanding debtors and answering supplier queries
Supporting the preparation of the monthly management reports.
Print end of month report and distribute to board.
Assist Contract Managers in updating forms for client projects
Invoices and statements hard copy filing
Monthly supplier statement reconciliations
Daily bank reconciliation with Sage
Supporting the weekly payment run process
Expenses: check receipts and calculate VAT and totals
Assistance with updating internal processes to drive efficiencies in the finance department
Point of contact to answer queries from external auditors during annual audit
The Accounts Assistant required skills and experience:
Experience in an accounts/finance support role
Competence/experience with accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks essential
Qualified or looking to study towards an AAT qualification or equivalent qualification
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Strong analytical and numerical skills
