You will play a key role in supporting our GPs by managing appointments, processing patient referrals, and handling medical records. Your work will ensure smooth operations within the practice, helping to deliver excellent care to our patients.Key Responsibilities: Referral Management: Complete and track patient referrals to specialists, ensuring all necessary documentation is provided and follow-ups are done in a timely manner. Appointments: Organise and manage patient appointments, ensuring smooth scheduling. Medical Records: Maintain accurate and confidential patient records. Communication: Answer patient queries, manage correspondence, and liaise with healthcare providers.Requirements: Experience as a Medical Secretary or in a similar administrative role. Knowledge of the NHS referral process. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
