Requirements
We are looking for a Principal Business Analyst with a strong background in Operational Excellence and Supply Chain Management (SCM) Transformation value chain. You should have extensive knowledge of the manufacturing or engineering industry and experience integrating SAP supply chain modules with third-party applications. A deep understanding of business processes involved in supply chain management, including procurement, production, inventory management, order management, and logistics, is essential. You must have the ability to build effective relationships with both business and IT counterparts and stakeholders, and exhibit strong consulting skills to drive outcomes. Your experience in a manufacturing environment will be highly regarded.
In this role, you will advocate for user-centered design approaches and collaborate with subject matter experts to understand strategic roadmaps, ensuring that requirements and design solutions align with corporate goals. You will maintain oversight of Divisional strategic objectives in relation to current technology and process transformation efforts. Your responsibilities will include transforming the business analysis approach based on user research and metrics, identifying enterprise-level process improvements, and working closely with designers to oversee the development of prototypes. Additionally, you will partner with the Product Owner and/or Delivery Manager to maintain a prioritized backlog for product delivery, assess new demand, and ensure that solutions align with architectural principles. You will also coach and mentor team members in agile and lean methodologies, ensuring the BA team produces quality artifacts. If necessary, occasional international travel may be required.
Description
We offer a hybrid working model, with 3-4 days a week in the Birmingham office and a competitive salary of up to £90,000 per annum.
