Job Advertisement: Year 3 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Just outside of Lancaster

We are currently seeking a dedicated Year 3 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team just outside of Lancaster. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to a student with SEN, helping them to achieve their full potential within the classroom setting.
Requirements:
1. A qualification related to working with children in schools, such as Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning.
2. Proven experience working in a classroom environment with knowledge of the national curriculum.
3. Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and a strong understanding of various SEN requirements.
4. Must be able to travel to the school location via car.
Responsibilities:
5. Provide one-to-one support to a Year 3 student with SEN, ensuring their individual needs are met.
6. Assist the student with classroom activities and tasks, adapting teaching materials as necessary.
7. Work closely with the class teacher to implement strategies that support the student's learning and development.
8. Monitor the student's progress and provide regular feedback to the teaching staff and parents/guardians.
9. Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to succeed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
