Cover Supervisor - Chorley

About Us: We are recruiting for a Cover Supervisor to work across secondary schools located in the heart of Chorley, committed to providing a supportive and stimulating learning environment for all our students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervising and managing the behaviour of students in the classroom.
* Delivering pre-prepared lessons and resources left by the absent teacher.
* Assisting students with their work and responding to any questions.
* Ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
* Reporting back to the absent teacher on the progress of the lesson and any issues that arose.
* Adhering to the school’s policies and procedures, including those relating to safeguarding and child protection.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with young people, preferably in an educational setting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively.
* Flexibility and adaptability to work in different subject areas.
* A proactive and positive approach to supporting students’ learning.
* A commitment to the ethos and values of the school.
Desirable:
* A degree or relevant qualification.
* Experience in a similar role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
