The leading consultancy firm is partnered with a leading IP service provider to look for a skilled Cloud Security Engineer for an initial 6-month contract, with a strong possibility of extension. This role is inside IR35 and requires three days per week onsite in West London.

Responsibilities:
1. Implement and oversee cloud security across global projects, ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
2. Develop and engineer security solutions for containerised environments, DevSecOps pipelines, and multi-cloud environments.
3. Engineer cloud security solutions for containerised environments and microservices, including Kubernetes and Docker.
4. Conduct threat modelling, assess third-party solutions, and recommend security improvements.
5. Monitor cloud security compliance throughout project lifecycles, ensuring adherence to company standards and security protocols.
Skills/Must have:
1. Proven hands-on experience in cloud security roles such as Cloud Security Engineer or Solutions Architect, with a deep understanding of secure cloud implementations.
2. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, OSCP, or SANS are highly desirable, along with certifications in one or more cloud vendor offerings (eg, AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI).
3. Proficiency in core cloud security areas including governance, identity and access management, network security, data protection, workload security, and monitoring.
4. Experience with security tools for container technology (eg, Kubernetes, ECS, Docker) and cloud posture management (eg, Prisma Cloud, Rapid7).
5. Strong skills in cloud threat modelling and architectural assessment using tools such as IriusRisk.
