Vulnerable children in the UK need your help

A bit about the role
We are looking for Family Support Workers to facilitate our Family Clubs.
Family Clubs are a 6-session activity-based programme for parents / carers and children. Sessions comprise of a whole group activity followed by a family activity and end with a hot meal, eaten together as a group with staff. The groups comprise of 4 to 5 families or 14 to 15 individuals.
Family Club aims to improve relationships and communication between family members, to improve parent/carer confidence, self-esteem and parenting skills, to increase family resilience, reduce isolation, build supportive networks while improving families' awareness of local support services. Most of all Family Clubs are a place for Families to come and have fun.
We are looking for 2 Family Support Workers to work for 24 weeks in total in 6-week blocks during which you would facilitate 3 sessions a week usually Tuesday to Thursday.
How you'll help to create brighter futures
* Facilitating Family Clubs
* Supporting family relationships and communication
* Running activities during the clubs such as arts and crafts, music, making slime etc.
* Preparing food for the sessions
Let's talk about you
As a Family Support Worker you'll ideally have:
* Excellent communication skills
* The ability to build relationships at all levels
* A passion for helping families who may be experiencing difficulties for a wide range of reasons
* Experience of delivering group-based activities is an advantage
