About the role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Laboratory Services - Project Manager based at our office in Elstree, with the opportunity to travel to our London sites. This is a 12-month fixed term, full time post (40 hours per week).
The successful candidates will be responsible for developing comprehensive project plans, ensuring resource availability and budget allocation. Defining the scope of the project and ensuring project phases and targets are completed to schedule and on budget:
A. Ensure successful management and delegation of projects to all members of the project team.
B. Ensure projects are implemented, monitored, managed, and reported against.
C. Identify and implement new project streams; review budget and assess profitability.
D. Meeting budgetary objectives and adjusting as required.
E. Provide daily, weekly and monthly progress reports on project statuses.
F. Ensure open and effective communication with all senior management and stakeholders (internal and external).
G. Create relationships between trusts, estates teams, external contractors / suppliers, and other external parties.
