KBR are looking to recruit a Lead Pipeline Engineer on a 12 month contract based in Leatherhead, Surrey.

Role Overview
Lead installation elements of the Dalia lifetime extension FEED project. Specifically disconnection of existing flexibles and umbilical's and installation with replacements or with rigid pipelines. Deliver installation outline procedures, installation analysis, and SIMOPS assessment for flexibles, rigids and umbilicals. Must be experienced in OrcaFlex.
Responsibilities
4. Meet with clients to define pipeline requirements.
5. Conduct site surveys and research to determine pipeline specifications and placement as well as pump sizes.
6. Prepare and present technical materials such as cost estimates, pipeline layouts, and flow simulations.
7. Calculate project requirements such as materials, budget, and time.
8. Create and develop digital designs such as pipeline maps, blueprints, and mechanical diagrams.
9. Oversee the construction and installation process of pipeline infrastructure and systems.
10. Manage the project workflow and budget.
11. Perform quality control assessments and ensuring that the pipelines comply with all technical and safety regulations.
12. Perform maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to pipelines, as needed.
13. Keeping up to date with the latest advancements in design software, technical standards, and construction techniques.
