Job Context: This role will focus on formulating innovative marketing strategies in collaboration with selected high street retailers, ensuring alignment with our organization’s customer strategy. The ideal candidate will work closely with support services, including design, material sourcing, product development, and merchandising execution teams. Additionally, the role will involve liaising with manufacturing teams in Bangladesh to ensure seamless product delivery and execution.
This position is crucial for driving overall business growth and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement targeted marketing strategies to promote Q Collection in alignment with the organization’s customer strategy and selected partners.
2. Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, utilizing data-driven insights to inform future strategies.
3. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, fostering effective communication and collaboration to drive shared success.
4. Create engaging marketing materials and presentations tailored to the target audience.
5. Represent Q Collection at industry events and meetings, showcasing the organization's strengths and capabilities to create business opportunities.
6. Stay updated on market competitiveness, customer trends, new products, materials, and suppliers to enhance competitiveness and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
7. Collaborate closely with support services—including design, material sourcing, product development, and merchandising teams—to establish product development and cost strategies.
8. Develop and manage the Critical Path (CP) to ensure timely completion of marketing and merchandising events, leading to execution excellence.
9. Integrate sustainability considerations into marketing and merchandising operations to align with corporate sustainability goals by promoting sustainable materials and products.
10. Build and nurture a dynamic marketing and merchandising team, fostering a talent pipeline within the organization.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
1. Budgeted revenue and earning
2. Conversion rate of new Business Opportunities
3. Development hit rate
4. Customer satisfaction survey
5. % of Sustainable raw materials sourced and products produced
6. On time delivery (OTD)
Educational Background: Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Textile or Apparel Engineering / Merchandising / Marketing.
Experience: 5-7 years of managerial experience in Marketing and Merchandising. Capability and capacity to manage a complex business model across multiple departments within the selected customer portfolio driving $50M business or more. Experience in handling UK brands preferably Marks & Spencer, Primark, George, Sainsbury’s. Sound knowledge on all merchandising activities from product development to execution, critical path management, costing.

5. Experience working collaboratively with cross functional teams, particularly in an international context.
6. Proficiency in using marketing tools and analytical platforms.

8. Focus on people development and creating a future-ready front-end team.
9. Ability to convert challenges to opportunities and deliver projects assigned under tight deadlines as per business needs.
