About us
UCL is one of the U.K.'s premier research and teaching Universities, ranked within the top 15 global universities, and has one of the largest Biomedical Faculties in Europe. It is closely aligned to University College London Hospitals (UCLH), which has state-of-the-art facilities in central London, and continues to grow through a major investment in building. In the last 8 years, the UCH Macmillan Cancer Centre opened opposite the UCL Cancer Institute, the hub for cancer research and translation research, and in January 2022, the UCL Proton Beam Therapy Centre housing the new proton therapy centre and haematology and transplantation treated its first patients. In 2019, a new Eastman Dental and Royal Ear Nose and Throat Hospital was opened. Clinical Cancer Trials have been a key component of UCL and UCLH's research ethos. The Cancer Research UK and UCL Cancer Trials Centre (CTC) opened in 1996 and is one of the largest academic cancer trials centres in the UK.
About the role
