Job Title: SEN Tutor Job Duties: Provide one-on-one support and tailored teaching to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles Assist students in developing academic, social, and life skills Monitor and track student progress, adjusting strategies as needed Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in the students' education Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with students with SEN Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of the UK education system and SEN regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students with SEN Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) Training in specific interventions for SEN students Working Conditions: Part-Time hours, flexible schedule Work primarily in a school setting or student's home May require travel within Oxfordshire All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
