We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Pricing Analyst to join our dynamic team at our office in Hayle, Cornwall. In this role, you will assist in supporting our pricing strategies and maximising rental income for our property portfolio across the UK. You will work closely with various departments to gather data, perform quantitative analysis, and support decision-making processes through insightful reporting. Responsibilities: Assist in the analysis and interpretation of pricing data t help develop pricing strategies. Supporting the identification of opportunities driven by local events, holiday periods, and seasonal changes to maximise income for individual properties. Monitoring competitor pricing and market trends to make data-driven recommendations. Analysing booking trends and customer behaviour data to contribute to pricing recommendations. Supporting the creation and maintenance of pricing models, ensuring they are accurate and up to date. Preparing regular and ad-hoc reports to track pricing performance and identify opportunities for optimisation. Collaborating with the pricing team to adapt pricing based on demand, seasonality, and other market factors. Providing clear and concise communication to internal teams regarding price adjustments and strategies. Ensuring all pricing changes are accurately reflected across internal systems. Assisting in the development of tools and processes to improve the efficiency and accuracy of pricing decisions. Skills: Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for identifying trends and patterns in data. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including knowledge of formulas. Basic experience with data visualisation tools like Power BI is beneficial. Excellent communication skills to effectively present findings and collaborate with internal and external teams. Highly organised with strong attention to detail, especially when working with data. A proactive approach to problem-solving with a willingness to investigate anomalies and make suggestions for improvement. Interest or background in the hospitality or property letting sector is a plus. Eagerness to learn and grow within a dynamic pricing environment. Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and work effectively within a team.
