Milk Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join our team for a Special Educational Needs and Mental Health (SEMH) school in Boston. This role will involve teaching Year 5 and Year 6 students, providing tailored education and emotional support in a nurturing and structured learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum, adapted to meet the needs of SEMH students.
*
Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback.
*
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports emotional and behavioural needs.
*
Implement behaviour management strategies to encourage positive engagement.
*
Work collaboratively with SENCOs, support staff, parents, and carers to enhance student learning.
*
Maintain effective classroom management and uphold school policies.
Requirements:
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, preferably in Year 5 or Year 6.
*
Previous experience working with SEMH students or within an SEN setting is highly desirable.
*
Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and ability to differentiate learning.
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*
Adaptability and a proactive approach to teaching.
*
A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one).
