Your team:
Within the engineering division of the Paris office of Technip Energies, you will contribute to the Regulatory Compliance team.
Your daily activity:
As Regulatory Compliance Manager Off-shore F/H, your main responsibilities are:
1. Establish, maintain and implement project procedures related to regulatory compliance activity.
2. Establish and implement class activities with Classification society, ensuring all exchanges on the project are performed, understood and recorded formally.
3. Ensure Project documents are identified and transferred to Class Society, ensuring Flag activities are duly coordinated.
4. Follow the commercial aspect and final close-out of Class contracts.
5. Ensure that Flag provisional Certificate and Class Provisional Certificate and other mandatory documents are issued and re-issued in a timely manner until final hand-over to Client.
6. Establish and maintain a permitting register.
7. Coordinate Project queries raised to Class / Flag.
8. Review national regulations identified as applicable by the legal consultant and inform the project of regulations that have impact in each project phase, supporting to clarify when necessary.
9. For Verification, establish and execute contracts with third party(ies).
You will be our internal and external focal point for the above-mentioned activities.
Your assets for success:
You are the ideal profile if you have an engineering degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years relevant work experience with Classification societies, Flag administration in the Maritime / oil and gas industry, and experience in working with third party organizations, national authorities and regulatory compliance.
You have good knowledge of Classification and Flag administration rules and International Laws, Acts and regulations. Experience with local regulation and permitting support is an advantage.
You naturally promote team-working and cross-functional collaboration among the different functions both internally (with Procurement, Engineering, Inspection, construction, commissioning) and externally (with Class / Flag / third party, Client, Sub-contractors and Vendors).
Fluent in English; French is a plus.
