Logical are looking for a strategic Senior Commissioning Engineer for a large project outside the Bolton area. You'll be joining our main contractor, working solely on a wastewater project for United Utilities.
As part of your job, you will create the commissioning strategy from the ground up and ensure that the project's process outputs are produced safely, in accordance with the design, client requirements, regulatory outputs, and all environmental restrictions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Commissioning services including commissioning plans and documentation, liaising with suppliers, facilitating contractor commissioning, and assisting the project team with project completions.
2. Work within the team of mechanical, EICA, and commissioning engineers to develop best practices, a strong health & safety environment, and value for money.
3. Wastewater projects incorporating new builds and refurbishments on apparatus such as inlet works, coarse screens with screen handling units, grit separation & classifiers, fine screens, chemical dosing, dewatering & secondary treatment plants, etc.
4. Producing and reviewing third-party Risk Assessments & Method Statements.
5. Ability to analyze and interpret data to solve problems.
6. Provide process and control expertise for delivery teams within the UU framework.
You must have experience in installation & wastewater commissioning in the utility sector, understanding the commissioning process cradle to grave, and working to safe systems of work. Additionally, you should be able to demonstrate evidence of design improvements of process-related equipment and plant.
