Job Overview
Senior Dental Therapist and Dental General Manager
This is a pivotal dental service role, encompassing clinical and managerial responsibilities. The post holder will lead the delivery of Oral Health Promotion programs across Bromley Healthcare, ensuring high-quality execution and a measurable positive impact on the community.
The post holder will regularly monitor their progress, providing detailed reports and actionable insights to drive continuous improvements. Representing the BHC OHP team at various events, they will actively promote Bromley Healthcare’s core values, meet key performance targets, enhance operational efficiency, and manage resources effectively.
Flexibility is essential, as the role may occasionally require working outside regular hours. The post holder will also collaborate closely with the Clinical Director and the management team to ensure the smooth and effective running of the dental service.

Main Duties of the Job
The post holder will be responsible for the management and development of Oral Health Promotion across Bromley Healthcare (BHC), leading the team under the guidance of the Clinical Director. In addition to overseeing OHP initiatives, the post holder will provide dental care to a diverse patient population with special care needs, as prescribed by a dentist.
The role includes monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of Oral Health Promotion programs, preparing reports as required, and acting as the RPS lead and representative for BASCD. The post holder will also represent BHC CDS at a senior level, upholding the organisation’s reputation and fostering positive relationships with key stakeholders.
A key part of the role is championing and delivering Bromley Healthcare's core values, meeting all set targets and KPIs, driving operational efficiency, managing team capacity, and providing dynamic leadership.
Flexibility is essential, as the post holder may occasionally be required to work outside of standard working hours to meet the needs of the service.
This job will involve manual handling and use of a car are essential.

Qualifications
* Qualification of Dental Hygienist and Therapist registered with the GDC
* Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
* Management Qualification
Experience
* Up to date knowledge of the role of dental hygienist/therapist
* Strong planning and organisational skills
* Previous experience of working in CDS
* Car Driver
* Demonstrable experience of delivering BASCD Projects
* Demonstrable experience of delivering service projects
Management Experience
* Demonstrable experience of line managing a team
* Organising meetings and events
