GSL Education are looking for a caring and dedicated Early Years Practitioner (EYP) to join a welcoming early years setting in Portsmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and enjoys supporting children in their formative years. Key Responsibilities: Provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for young learners. Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and structured activities. Assist in planning and delivering activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. Observe and assess children's progress, working closely with teachers and parents to support individual needs. Encourage a positive attitude toward learning and exploration. Ideal Candidate: Experience working in an early years setting is desirable. A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or a related field is advantageous. A patient, kind, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children. Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children, staff, and parents. An up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years, with any gaps explained). An enhanced DBS registered to the update service, or willingness to apply for one. Why Join GSL Education?
