I am looking for a diligent and knowledgeable Compliance Officer to join the team based in Surrey. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of regulatory policies, data protection, and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes, along with at least 2 years of relevant experience. As a Compliance Officer, you will ensure that the company complies with all applicable laws and regulations, protecting both our business and our customers. Your new role Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures. Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments. Ensure adherence to data protection regulations such as GDPR and CCPA. Oversee KYC processes to verify customer identities and prevent fraud. Provide training and support to staff on compliance-related issues. Stay informed about changes in regulatory policies and industry standards. Collaborate with various departments to address compliance issues and implement solutions. What you'll need to succeed Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a compliance role, preferably in the software or technology sector. Strong knowledge of regulatory policies, data protection laws, and KYC processes. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Professional certifications such as Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) or Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) are advantageous.
