We are currently recruiting Mechanical Design Engineers to join our offices in Chorley and Whitehaven. The Role Develop safe, legally compliant engineering solutions and verify / validate they satisfy project requirements. Produce detail design drawings in accordance with applicable codes, standards and procedures. Produce engineering documentation to influence and provide evidence of the design process. Source ideas and innovation from multiple sources to achieve the optimum engineered solution. Undertake technical reviews and conduct risk assessments. The Person Experienced in mechanical design engineering within a regulated industry (nuclear preferred). Breadth of demonstrable experience of design and detailing plant and equipment. Understands and can apply design codes, standards and procedures. Knowledge of NEC suite of contracts, change control methodology and common project management practices.
