About the business
Our client is an established 3PL that services multiple clients across a variety of sectors. This opportunity has become available due to an internal move and will be part of the Client Services team.
About the role
As a Logistics Account Manager, your primary responsibility will be to develop effective relationships with the company's clients. This includes maintaining and retaining existing clients by ensuring appropriate service delivery, while building deeper relationships and understanding their needs. The role relies on your ability to work closely with other areas of the business, including customer service, operations, and dispatch. While the role does not have managerial responsibilities, managing internal and external relationships will be critical to your success.
About the person
We are interested in talking to candidates who meet the following criteria:
1. Previous experience in a Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain environment - Desirable
2. Previous experience in customer service and/or account management (ideally as a Logistics Account Manager) - Essential
3. A natural people person with the ability to form strong relationships internally & externally - Essential
4. Previous experience working to and managing SLAs and KPIs for your customers - Essential
5. Good time management and the ability to manage all aspects of your own performance - Essential
6. Highly motivated to deliver great service and contribute to the ongoing success of the business - Essential
7. The ability to commute to the HQ in the Manchester area - Essential
