We have an exciting 10 month fixed term opportunity as a Senior Business Administrator within the Directorate of Mental Health.
The successful candidate will be supporting the DMH Lead for Psychology and Psychological Services and the Associate Director for Psychological Professions. This fast paced and diverse role will involve providing comprehensive administrative and/or secretarial support to the Psychology Lead and Psychology Associate Director to harmonise efforts and specialisms of all disciplines to achieve effective and efficient service provision. This is a full-time role of 37.5 hours a week from Monday to Friday, with a blended working approach to commence from 1st April 2025. We are looking for a forward thinking, committed and enthusiastic individual who is able to demonstrate Leicestershire Partnership Trust's values of compassion, respect, integrity and trust whilst carrying out their day to day role responsibilities.
The successful candidate will be able to manage a varied workload, able to meet tight deadlines, have experience of minuting, agenda setting and electronic diary management, and have experience with supervising or being a team leader.

Main duties of the job
1. Taking minutes/notes of meetings, circulating documentation including identifying actions ensuring they are logged, prioritised, and are followed up.
2. To undertake electronic diary management, including booking events, meetings and appointments.
3. To attend meetings, organising refreshments and resources, preparing agendas and taking accurate notes/minutes, identifying and co-ordinating agreed actions.
4. Communicating effectively both verbally and in writing with a wide range of professional colleagues and service users.
5. To organise, plan and prioritise own workload, to be responsive to the changing needs of the service, utilising and maintaining electronic and hard-copy office systems to ensure the smooth-running of the service or team.
6. To deal confidentially and confidently with complex patient and staff information and to provide support and advice within the remit of the role, and escalating problems or concerns where appropriate.
7. Carry out the supervision of another member of staff.
