Senior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst

Your Role:
We are seeking a Senior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our Finance team on a 6-month fixed term contract.
What you'll do:
* Contribute to the regular forecasting and annual business plan processes, including a focus on any new project requirements for the Apollo syndicates.
* Perform quarterly analysis of actuals vs plan on a GAAP and year of account basis, producing commentary for presentation to Board and Audit Committee.
* Produce annual and long term business plans for the Apollo syndicates, coordinating with the underwriting and actuarial functions in Apollo.
* Deliver the production and analysis of Syndicate Business Forecast (SBF) returns to Lloyd's.
* Work with both the Finance and the Actuarial and Risk function for the purposes of quarterly reporting and the annual ORSA exercise, to ensure you have a rounded understanding of the financial impacts across the business.
* Work closely with the business in provision of support to capital providers.
* Establish and maintain process documentation.
* Support decision-making across the business with ad-hoc analysis in relation to all of the above.
What we are looking for:
* Qualified, ACA, ACCA or equivalent.
* Knowledge and experience of Insurance accounting.
* Experience and knowledge of Anaplan would be highly beneficial.
* Excellent stakeholder communication skills.
* Deadline focused with good organisational and time management skills.
* Conscientious, with a positive work ethic and an inquiring mind.
