Location: St Neots (PE19 8YP), Cambridge
Hours: full time, 40 hours a week, hybrid working optional
Your role
Pico Technology is on the hunt for hardware designers with a range of skills and experience to develop a new range of test and measurement solutions. If you have a passion for electronics and want to work with like-minded people, then Pico could be what you're looking for!
The successful candidate will:
1. Design state-of-the-art test and measurement equipment
2. Craft novel product architectures and innovative solutions
3. Engage in detailed circuit design and component selection
4. Conduct design calculations, simulations and verification
5. Use excellent communication skills to share knowledge within your engineering team and with non-technical colleagues and customers
6. Contribute to design reviews and support mandatory approvals processes
7. Aid in transitioning products from concept to production, including manufacturing requirements and test specifications
8. Ensure the highest quality of deliverables, aligned with project goals and timelines.
What we're looking for
If you have skills and experience in one or more of the following areas then we're interested in hearing from you:
1. Digital hardware design: FPGAs, high-speed interfaces and memories
2. Analogue design: proficiency in low noise/high-speed design, amplifiers and signal conditioning
3. Sampling & conversion technology: knowledge of high sample-rate ADC converters
4. Microcontroller systems: devices and integrated peripherals.
This role is based at our head office in St Neots, Cambridgeshire. We offer flexible working hours and the choice to work from home up to three days a week when this fits with project requirements.
