We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Analyst to join the Technology Operations Development & Projects Team in our Technology Division. The Senior Technical Analyst will work closely with our engineering teams and internal stakeholders to ensure a quality end-to-end technical design is produced.
Through engagement with change delivery teams, the technical analyst will ensure that existing processes and applications have been updated to reflect the new changes, and that the existing support functions are prepared and ready to support the new changes.

What you’ll be doing?
* Analysing changes to business systems from a technical perspective, ensuring that the project is clear on Technology Support requirements and that support teams are prepared to support new capabilities and features.
* Ensuring existing systems and processes are not disrupted by highlighting issues to the changes projects.
* Collaborating closely with stakeholders and understanding how technical change meets business requirements whilst interpreting the impact on other systems.
* Liaising with third party system and data providers including setting up and leading meetings as well as improving processes.
* Acting as consultant for the technology area for complex problems and issues and provide support to the application support team to resolve incidents during peak times of the year.
* Assessing the impact of change on existing complex support models and having a mindset for continuous improvement.
Who are we looking for?
* Ability to design technical documentation and be able to articulate and present technical documentation to technical and non-technical colleagues.
* Someone who is analytical and logical and can understand a proposed technical change and see how it might potentially impact systems, operational processes, and procedures that support the estate.
* Accurate data, system availability and effective support are essential to the successful operation of the Partnership and SJP. Having an appreciation of software development practices is key to this role.
* Experience of a variety of application integration approaches, application development, design, and integration and experience of working with technology in a regulated environment.
* Strong understanding of core cloud infrastructure and ITIL/ITSM processes, especially incident management.
* Able to question internal and external stakeholders and being able to adapt communication style to both technical and non-technical audiences.
