Thorn Baker has teamed up with a national specialist sub-contractor,whospecialise in the design, build, commissioning, and maintenance of bespoke pump station solutions for the construction industry and haveover fifty years of experience in the water industry. Due to growing business needs, they are offering an amazing opportunity for experienced Pump System Engineersto work in a growing, dynamic business within the construction supply industry. To start with, the role will be on a part-time, temporary basis (21 hours per week) but there is potential for this position to become permanent in the future, depending on business needs.

Required Skills:
Ideally an HNC Electro/Mechanical Engineering or VQ Level 3 technical qualification.
18th Edition or equivalent qualification
Confined space
CSCS
Health and Safety awareness, ability to carry out Risk Assessments.
Extensive experienceininstallations, fault finding, test & repairs (pumps & a range of controls)
Your Responsibilities:
Installing and commissioning pumping stations, both private and adoptable, to therelevant Water Authority specification
Attending customer sites to carry out site surveys, with detailed reports to assist preparingproposals for refurbishments
Attending customer sites to complete fault finding, installation, maintenance, repair andtesting of industrial pumping stations and equipment
Installation, repair and testing of pump and control equipment to ensure compliance withcompany and manufacturer standards
Servicing and maintainingpumping stations
Fault Finding, able to identify faults and rectify
Key skills: Civils, pump system engineer, construction, CSCS
