We are recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Drivers to support our client, a well-known removals company based in Bothwell, to work with a team delivering furniture. This position is commutable from most places, due to motorway links.
They’re hoping for a Class 2 Driver to start with them immediately, so if you’re looking for something new, this might be perfect timing for you!
Role details:
1. Monday to Sunday, 5 shifts over 7 days
2. Dayshift, 8am to 4.30pm, guaranteed 40hours per week
3. Temporary to permanent for the right candidate.
4. Duties will be working in a team delivering furniture all over the UK, you will be assisted with 2 to 3 porters
To be considered, you’ll be an experienced Class 2 Driver, and have:
5. Valid Category C driving licence
6. Valid CPC & Digi cards
7. Removal experience is essential
8. 6 points or less on your licence
9. Physically fit due to heavy lifting
10. Immediate start availability
11. Own transport would be preferred due to local and early start times
12. Position is open to newly qualified HGV drivers
In return:
13. £14 per hour (PAYE)
14. Weekly pay
15. 28 days paid holiday pro-rata on PAYE
16. Regular, on-going work offered leading to permanent for the right candidate
17. Eligible for our Recommend a Friend scheme, guaranteed 8hr shifts, Driver Hire high-vis, ‘driver of the month’ goodies
