In this role, you’ll be at the heart of optimising the production workflows, ensuring smooth daily operations, and supporting the strategic business improvement plans. Your leadership will inspire and engage teams, promoting a culture of excellence while delivering high-quality customer solutions.
Your Mission:
* Implement the Production Essentials framework to ensure operational excellence.
* Uphold Health and Safety policies across the Production and Engineering departments.
* Ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality customer deliveries.
* Drive continuous improvement projects to boost plant efficiency and productivity.
* Forecast production volumes and resource needs, managing activities within budget.
* Collaborate with the General Manager on strategic plans and capital requests.
* Manage and develop employees, including performance management, training, and fostering a supportive work environment.
* Promote cross-departmental collaboration and create a “One Team” culture.
* Lead environmental sustainability initiatives, focusing on energy reduction strategies.
What We’re Looking For:
* Strong leadership skills with direct experience in people management.
* Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
* Proven ability to lead high-performance teams and drive continuous improvement.
* Solid experience in planning, organising, and delivering results.
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
* Ability to think analytically and make data-driven decisions.
* Commercial acumen and understanding of supply chain operations.
* Willingness to work flexible hours as required.
* Experience with Lean (Six Sigma) methodologies.
* Educational background or qualifications in lean manufacturing or process industries.
* NEBOSH or equivalent health and safety certification.
* Previous experience in implementing continuous improvement programs.
