The successful candidate will: Be caring and supportive Have the ability to empathise with students Be able to use a range of strategies to deal with students under pressure and also individual behavioural needs Have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with colleagues Have the ability to be a team player who will go the extra mile to support students and who will enjoy the challenges of this role We are particularly keen to hear from caring, supportive adults to assist our SEND students with their examination access arrangements, such as the use of a reader or scribe. Whilst no experience is needed as training will be given, experience of working with young people would be an advantage. You will need to be reliable, flexible, and well-organised with a good attention to detail.
