GSC Ware is a key site in the GSK network, with a focus on new product introduction, manufacturing and supplying respiratory inhalers and tablet products to patients across the world. Education required:
1. 3 A Levels at CCC or above including a Mathematics based subject and a STEM subject (or equivalent including BTECs).
2. 5 GCSEs or equivalent grade 9-5 (A*-C) including Maths, English Language (not Literature) and a Science.
Language requirement:
Written and spoken fluency in English.
Other requirements:
You must live within a 60-minute commute of the site location on the day you start your apprenticeship as you are expected to be on site daily.

01 September 2025.

What will you do?
As an Automation engineer is a multi-skilled role specialising in engineering systems that are used to monitor and control manufacturing or process operations, working across a range of equipment such as Programmable Logic Controllers, Human Machine Interfaces, Robots and Industrial Networks in discreet or process manufacturing environments.
You will be working on continuous improvement projects including efficiency and sustainability and learning how to find the root cause and solutions to problems that occur during the manufacturing process.

1. Starting salary of £20,800 per year, increasing to £26,400 after 1 year (subject to review annually) + annual bonus based on company performance.
