Our client are a technology training and services company which trains and develops diverse, high-quality junior talent for deployment into their clients' technology function. Their services provide capacity with a view to creating long term capability.
It's been set up to help close the digital skills gap in the UK by launching and developing the tech superstars of the future and enabling our partners to build a scalable pipeline of high quality, skilled junior tech talent, who are supported throughout their 2 year development programme.
Purpose of role:
To maximise opportunity in existing accounts. To work with senior leaders and stakeholders in existing clients to understand the opportunity, strategy, upcoming projects and propose relevant solutions to those individuals.
Context:
We are looking to hire someone who will be able to work with existing accounts and who's responsibility will be account growth. Due to recent success, our client is now tripling the size of the business, and moving to graduating 2 cohorts per month rather than quarterly cohorts. This role is critical and will be pivotal to them achieving success and building the demand to meet the upcoming growth of the academy.
Responsibilities:
* Be responsible for driving growth within existing clients.
* Create strategy for how to impact growth in accounts and deliver against that strategy.
* Create and maintain strong, long-term business and personal relationships with key stakeholders at the client company.
* Work with the academy and engagement team to understand the feedback from the current associates on site and their managers and build this into the plan for the accounts.
* Work with clients to create a pipeline of needs, and work with the academy to fulfil these.
* Identify opportunities and create relevant, credible solutions.
* In time, grow and develop the function.
* Discover, understand, and influence the client's Vision and Business with respect to digital transformation, and identify opportunities for the wider business
* Identify risk within a client project and develop a strategy to mitigate risk together with the delivery teams.
* Provide thought leadership to build winning strategy that positions our services for long term success.
Client Partner:
* Understand and be able to articulate the implications of technological choices on the downstream operating model.
* Assist the client in their business planning, including the development of the client's business case.
* Overseeing the outcome of the solutions and spotting opportunities to cross-sell back into business
* Help progress opportunities through the sales cycle by identifying critical next steps and creatively overcoming obstacles.
* Foster deep relationships with the wider team.
* Maintain and expand knowledge on the major IT methodologies. Services, and technologies.
Required Experience:
* Comfortable working with CIOs/CTOs to understand their strategy, upcoming projects. Would be hugely beneficial if worked in a technical environment
* Demonstrable field experience, client engagement and business development experience with requisite understanding of relevant markets.
* Proven ability to facilitate and lead conversations and workshops with both senior and executive level clients as well as their technical teams.
* Manage a pipeline of opportunities, create & document shared strategy to meet targets.
* Previous deep experience of solution-selling, must be able to propose strategic solutions to technical leaders.
* Industry - a proven track record in account growth and management.
* Mindset - Adaptable & proactive; whether consulting at C-level or delivering solutions.
