Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the hospitality industry. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing both front-of-house and back-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Duties
1. Supervise and lead a diverse team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
2. Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including kitchen management, bartending, and customer service.
3. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the establishment.
4. Develop and implement effective training programmes for staff in culinary skills, bartending techniques, and customer service excellence.
5. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
6. Collaborate with kitchen staff to create innovative menus that reflect current trends while meeting customer preferences.
7. Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
8. Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the restaurant or hospitality sector.
2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
3. Knowledge of culinary practices and food safety standards is essential.
4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
5. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
6. Experience in bartending is an advantage but not mandatory.
7. A commitment to providing exceptional service and enhancing the overall guest experience.
