Job Details:
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Play a leading role in Process Improvement and provide training, advice, and practical assistance in the implementation of agreed processes.
2. Perform quality assurance and audit activities during all stages of the project life cycle.
3. Provide guidance, advice, and assistance as required. Assist in the training and development of all staff in QMS.
4. Work with project and departmental managers to identify non-conformances and assist in the implementation of cost-effective, timely solutions.
5. Work with Customer Services to ensure that all maintainability and reliability issues are reviewed and facilitate action towards continuous improvement.
6. Work closely with the Quality team as a whole, sharing knowledge and experience, and ensure that all project requirements are fully understood and transitions between the stages are seamless.
7. Analyse non-conformances and implement required corrective and preventative actions using the relevant quality tools.
8. Lead the resolution of quality issues relating to non-conformances.
9. Support continuous improvement activities to implement new systems and processes which are aligned with the overall quality and business strategy.
10. Responsible for the day-to-day implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of the QMS system.
11. Comply with Cubic’s values and adherence to all company policy and procedures, including the code of conduct, quality, security, and occupational health, safety, and environmental policies.
12. Perform other duties assigned by their manager as may be reasonably required.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
Essential:
1. Experience in the software or hardware development industry.
2. Good working knowledge of ISO 9001.
Desirable:
1. Experience gained within a high-tech commercial environment.
2. Experience of software development methodologies and control (TickIT).
3. Good working knowledge of ISO 20000, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, ISO 14001, and/or OHSAS18001.
4. Experience of production engineering or site installation.
Education and Qualifications:
Essential:
1. HND or equivalent in an Engineering discipline.
Desirable:
1. BSc or equivalent in an Engineering or Quality discipline.

1. Self-motivated.
2. Determined to succeed.
3. Well-organised and methodical.
4. The ability to work with minimum supervision.
5. The ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
6. The ability to work as an effective part of a team.
