Job Duties:
The English and Maths KS3 SEN Tutor will be responsible for providing specialised support and guidance to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This includes developing tailored lesson plans, delivering engaging and inclusive teaching sessions, assessing student progress, and adapting teaching strategies to meet individual learning requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- A relevant teaching qualification
- Experience working with SEN students
- Strong knowledge of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum
Education:
A degree in Education or a related field
Experience:
Previous experience working as a SEN Tutor
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create engaging and differentiated lesson plans
- Understanding of SEN teaching strategies
- Strong organisational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional training in SEN education
- Certification in specific SEN interventions
Working Conditions:
This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The tutor will be based in Wickford, Essex, and will work closely with SEN students in a classroom OR home setting.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
