The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support students’ educational, social, and emotional development. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons and activities.
2. Providing one-to-one and small group support to engage students in learning.
3. Implementing and supporting Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
4. Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
5. Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
6. Supporting students with personal care when needed, ensuring dignity and respect.
7. Monitoring and recording student progress, contributing to reports for teachers and families.

What We’re Looking For
1. Experience working with children, preferably in an educational or SEND setting (desirable but not essential).
2. A passion for supporting children with ASC and SEMH needs.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
5. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
6. Relevant qualifications, such as Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant (desirable but not essential).
