Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Stockbridge, Hampshire, to recruit a passionate and committed Teacher of Design & Technology to join their forward-thinking team from September 2025.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring Design & Technology lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will contribute to raising standards of attainment and achievement within the department, while fostering a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality D&T lessons in line with departmental schemes of work.
* Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and set meaningful homework.
* Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students, including those with SEND.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to curriculum development.
* Participate in enrichment activities, trips and school events.
* Uphold the school’s ethos and safeguarding standards at all times.
About You:
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher with a genuine passion for Design & Technology education.
Essential:
* A degree in a relevant subject area.
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Ability to teach at least one of the following to GCSE level: Engineering, D&T Timbers, or D&T Papers and Boards.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Desirable:
* Ability to teach an additional D&T specialism such as Food Preparation & Nutrition, Textiles, or D&T Papers and Boards would be good to have but not essential.
* Proficiency in using ICT to support teaching and learning.
* Familiarity with current GCSE specifications and curriculum developments.
