Department: Front of House Location: Croydon Compensation: £32,409 / year Description Front of House Receptionist | £32,409 | Full-Time East Croydon We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time front of house receptionist to take ownership of a newly refurbished reception in a corporate building located within a two minute walk of East Croydon Station. You will relish the opportunity to take ownership of the stunning reception, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who comes into the building. You’ll take pride in everything you do to deliver an impeccable reception service and enjoy building relationships with people who work in the building. In addition to your reception responsibilities, you will plan and co-ordinate pop up events, with the aim of creating a vibrant workplace culture. From seasonal treats to wellness activities, your creativity will help bring people together. Hours – 8.00am – 5.00pm Monday - Friday Salary - £32,409 pa Start – mid May Key Responsibilities Managing Reception Manage and take ownership of the reception area to ensure the ambiance reflects the clients’ and tenants’ expectations Ensure a warm, friendly and professional welcome – you will become the ‘face of the building’ Sign in all visitors to the building following appropriate reception processes Efficiently manage deliveries including couriers and post The building Support the Building Manager by ensuring any building issues are reported, monitored and managed to resolution You will be proactive in making suggestions or recommending improvements to the visitor or tenant experience at the building Build a rapport with all service partners (contractors, cleaners, security) and work together as one team Submit weekly reports on activity Tenant experience and community engagement Develop and plan seasonal events and pop ups for the tenants, to create a sense of community and aid enjoyment in the workplace Research and produce a monthly enewsletter to update tenants on events to encourage uptake and participation, ensuring content is always on brand and agree engaging content for the building’s app (as and when required) Confident and creative with a good eye for detail and able to produce communications using onsite/branded graphics Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Personable with a confident manner and able to deliver impeccable customer service Proactive, self-motivated and can easily multi-task Excellent communication skills – written and verbal A competent PC user and confident using Microsoft Office and social media applications, and be willing to learn any in-house systems Previous front of house reception or customer service experience in a busy, premium role Benefits Company pension Referral programme Wellness scheme, including a 24-hour confidential helpline and access to an on line GP Company events LAH Training Academy
