Ultra Maritime SMaP are recruiting for Electronics Engineers in Rugeley Staffordshire.
We are looking for an Electronics Engineer to join our team, focusing on PCB manufacturing. We specialise in designing, manufacturing, and supplying novel power-dense, high-integrity electronics. You'll be part of a small, dynamic team working on complex Agile Projects.
What you’ll do:
* Design and develop electronic circuits.
* Analyse electronic circuits.
* Generate requirements for electronic systems.
* Capture schematics and designs.
* Provide PCB layout advice and review.
* Select and review components.
* Take on varied engineering tasks to support projects and programs.
* Participate in internal and external meetings.
* Interface with customers on technical and project issues.
* Document your work in line with local operating procedures.
* Take an active role in Continuous Improvement
What we're looking for:
Essential:
* Minimum HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
* Team player with strong collaboration skills.
* Quick learner with a flexible and adaptable approach.
* Understanding of electronics manufacturing processes and techniques.
* Basic knowledge of analogue and digital design.
* Experience with schematic capture and drawing review.
* Circuit simulation experience.
* Wiring definition experience.
* Understanding of PCB layout supervision.
* Eligibility for full SC security clearance.
Desirable:
* Experience with EMC design.
* Environmental qualification experience.
* Existing SC security clearance.
* Experience with Altium Designer.
