Job Description Production & Warehouse Operative Starting Hourly Rate: £12.21ph Location: Worthing Hours of Work: 37 hours Warehouse Operative needed to join a company, a leader in providing quality connector solutions based near Worthing As a Production & Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for picking, assembling, and dispatching customer orders while ensuring quality standards are met. The daily duties of a Production & Warehouse Operative include: Picking and assembling orders accurately against works orders. Ensuring the correctness of component batches as per the works orders issued. Manually assembling connectors configured to customer-specific requirements. Continuously checking products for defects and informing the supervisor of any issues. Labeling products with the correct part/lot number and sales order information before final packing. Completing all necessary computer entries and documentation as part of the administrative process for customer orders. Neatly and securely packing goods to ensure they arrive at the customer's premises in satisfactory condition. Updating computer records at packing/dispatch. Assisting in putting away all newly received stock ensuring that all stock labels are correct. Aiding with stock checks, counting, and other inventory management associated work when requested. Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment. Conducting other reasonable tasks/duties as directed by the Production & Warehouse Supervisor. The profile of a successful Production & Warehouse Operative: Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, but full training will be provided. Skills: Basic computer literacy, ERP/MRP experience, understanding of basic manufacturing. Attitude: Positive and professional demeanor, commitment and willingness to succeed, dexterity, attention to detail, organized and practical to plan a productive workload.
