The Role :
Area Cleaning Manager.
40 hours per week, mainly Monday to Friday.
£30,900 per annum plus a company van.
The area: roughly 50 fire stations spread across Hampshire, from Ringwood to Portsmouth and Southampton to Aldershot.
The team: There are about 50 cleaners in your area.
As one of our Area Cleaning Managers on our contract with Hampshire County Council, you will make sure the cleaning operations run smoothly and to budget. You will be responsible for looking after your team of cleaners on the different fire stations across all of Hampshire. Depending on the set up of each site there might be only one cleaner or a team of up to 10 cleaners.
Your role will be to ensure that your team has all the skills and tools they need to thrive in their job to provide clean, hygienic and safe environments for the building users. This includes recruiting, onboarding, and training your team as well as looking after their motivation, wellbeing, and performance. You will also be responsible for ordering the stock for each site, carrying out regular site audits and completing timesheets to make sure everyone is paid correctly every month.
Your sites will be located across Hampshire and visiting your people and your sites is an important part of the job role of an Area Cleaning Manager. As such you will need to be comfortable driving regularly.
You will be working closely with the other Area Cleaning Managers for the contract and report into the Service Manager for the area.
