The Role As the Volunteer and Engagement Officer (co-production), you will recruit, train, and support a diverse group of core volunteers to help deliver a proactive Healthwatch service. You will lead community-focused engagement activities, listening events, and collaborative work with community groups to ensure our vision is realised. Responsibilities include: Recruiting, training, and motivating volunteers. Coordinating and delivering community-based, volunteer-led activities. Organising surveys, project work, and writing reports with recommendations. Supporting and attending events to promote Healthwatch’s vision. Support the development of co-production opportunities. The Person We’re looking for a flexible, approachable individual with a passion for amplifying voices and tackling inequality. Experience: 2 years in the health and social care voluntary sector. Planning and facilitating meetings and events. Empowering and supporting individuals. Recruiting and managing volunteers or staff. Developing and monitoring services. Skills: Excellent IT skills, including creating publicity materials and managing databases. Strong organisational and communication abilities. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
